Cryogenics is dramatically changing the profitability and productivity of the textile industry. Although new to many, it is now a proven process. Cryogenic processing has been proven to lengthen the wear resistance of machinery components, needles, pads, feet, grippers and bobbins, plus lots more. Machinery bearings stand up under round the clock operation 2 to 3 times longer than untreated bearings.

Before cryogenic treatment, wear pads on a knitting machine were worn out after 5 weeks of operation. After treatment the pads lasted over 6 months in the same operation.

Knives used to cut fabric lasted 8 times longer for one textile manufacturer.

Nylon drive gears last 3 to 4 times longer in many machinery applications.
