Cryogenic Process transmission gears
Cryogenic treated transmission components will have
better wear resistance,
but the real gain is the relief of residual stress. Every part and component
was
made by extreme machining, forging , casting, and forming. All these operations
are stress builders. Heat treated gears and wear parts do see wear resistance
from
austenite transformation. This in turn allows the engine to turn the gear
train easier
and with less drag so it runs smoother and faster.
Complete dissassembled Transmission should be Cryogenic treated
at the very least the input and output shafts and all the gears or planitaries
should be cryogenic tempered
