Cryogenic Process ring and pinion
Cryogenic treated ring & pinion components will
have better wear resistance,
but the real gain is the relief of residual stress. Every part and component
was
made by extreme machining, forging , casting, and forming. All these operations
are stress builders. Heat treated gears and wear parts do see wear resistance
from
austenite transformation. This in turn allows the engine to turn the gear
train easier
and with less drag so it runs smoother and faster. Cryo treating cases
have shown to
reduce ring gear deflection
Complete dissassembled gear sets should be Cryogenic treated ring and
pinion,
spider gears and limited slip differential, all bearings and cases should
be cryogenic
tempered.
