Engine and Transmission Preparation for Cryogenic Processing

1) Disassemble and clean all parts to be cryogenically treated.

2) Be sure all parts are in good working order.

3) Replace all worn or damaged parts before treating.

4) Do any machine work necessary. For engine blocks, save final hone till after cryogenic treatment.

5) Do not include seals, gaskets, or gasket making adhesives.

6) Do not send assemblies with tightened or torqued hardware.

After Cyrogenic Treatment:

1) If block was treated, perform final hone.

2) It is good practice to re-check tolerances.

3) Follow normal or recommended break-in procedures.

4) You may experience a slightly longer break-in period.
